I love tights! The only reason that I find winter tolerable is because I get to wear fur, chunky sweaters, and tights. Today, I want to share inspiration for my favorite --> tights :)

Well Dressed Men

GOOD MORNING!!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend! I wanted to start the week off light so. . . here's another edition of "Well Dressed Men"

(1) Patrick Dempsey

When he's not wearing a lab coat in Grey's Anatomy, Patrick Dempsey is a well dressed man :)

(2) Bruno Mars.  

I don't just love his music. I also love his vintage, cool-guy style. He's so adorable!

(3) Robert Pattinson. 

His style is simple. He doesn't use a lot of accessories or color. He just utilizes simple, well-crafted pieces to create his outfits. It totally works for him :)

My Winter Shopping List

Good Morning!!

A few weeks ago... when the temperature was warmer... I made my fall shopping list (see it here). However, I didn't find a single thing on this list! Okay, so maybe I found some of them, but not the "perfect" version of anything I wanted. So, I didn't buy anything on my fall shopping list. Don't get me wrong... I still shopped (duh!). Instead, I spent this fall thrifting my little heart out. Although, I love shopping at thrift stores, I don't tend to find specific items that I am looking for but rather just pieces that I love (and don't usually need).

I am a firm believer that great girlfriends are an absolute must! I have some of the most fabulous girlfriends EVER! Q&A

Hey all!

So many of you have asked questions about me and I thought I would take the time to answer them for you :)

1) "You always talk about your dogs! What kind of dogs do you have and what are their names?"

I have two dachshunds (more commonly known as wiener dogs). Their names are Buddy (age 7) and Harley (age 2). They are trouble makers and instigators, but I love them.

2) "How would you describe your style?"

Simple, causal, and feminine. Occasionally, I like to change it up but I always go back to bright colors, sheer fabric, and anything sparkly :)

3) "Who are your style icons?"

Carrie from Sex and the City and Jackie-O. However, they aren't my icons because our styles are similar but rather they are my icons because I admire their courage and tenacity in style.

4)" Why did you start Chocolate, Curves, & Cocktail Dresses?"

I talk about it a little on this page. But, basically, I started it because I didn't see any fashion blogs out there that reflected my style. I wanted to be inspired but I decided to inspire myself instead :) I love fashion and CC&CD is my outlet to share that love. After all, shouldn't fashion love be shared with everyone ;)

Outfit Post: My Husband's Shirt

The other day I was browsing one of my favorite blogs: Frankie Hearts Fashion (Whitney from Burgundy Boots mentioned it yesterday too!) and I was inspired by her outfit. She was wearing her husband's shirt and it looked totally cute! So, I thought I'd try it out :)
